Traffinomics is an indigenous company, a family owned and run operation. We are dedicated to being good rather than looking good. All our operations are performed and organised from our base in the Midlands, providing a nationwide service.
From inception to final report we scrutinise all aspects of our operation. We do not subscribe to outsourcing any element of the process to “third world sweatshops”, training, managing and rewarding only a local, long term, high quality staff resource.
Traffinomics Ltd is a team lead by Simon who believes ‘Excellence is a habit.’ From the first survey to now attention to detail is key.

The Team
SIMON WHEELER is the founder and Director of Traffinomics Ltd, with more than 30 years experience of traffic data collection. Formally the senior project manager for a then UK market leader ‘Count On Us Ltd’, Simon managed all large-scale survey operations from 1987 – 2000. Simon co-owned and Directed Abacus Transportation Surveys Ltd’ Irish operations (2000 – 2018), now re-branding to Traffinomics Ltd.
LORETTA WHEELER is co-founder and Director of Traffinomics Ltd. Loretta’s background is primarily in the manufacture of high tech computer components and quality control, before moving to the retail sector and accountancy/administration. Loretta’s role in Traffinomics is administration and implementation of auditing processes and procedures, along with training and staff development.
STAFF: Our staff trains to the highest degree in traffic data collection.
All staff is proficient in the use of various technologies and equipment. All traffic analysis is conducted on site. In this way, we are able to assure our analysis and control over every project.
